My background and education is Interactive Design. I am presently working as a Sr. UX / UXD Engineer as a contractor at DuPont Pioneer. This is UX strategy and user interface design for ag services and support tools (satellite imagery, weather radar, data visualization, remote sensing).

I've worked on a small start-up website, proposals for non-profits, .coms and was creative lead for the team responsible for Nationwide Insurance's intranet: InSide. I won a bronze quill for an interactive module I developed for Nationwide.com's Corporate Citizenship's website and page design.
Responsive, mobile first web site I designed and collaborated with Smash Development on the HTML5 / bootstrap. Project included IA (architecture mapping, UXD and site flow, design, photography direction, content development). The programming was done by a start-up company from Ankeny in a lean/agile development process.
Usability testing was conducted and is still in process as we continue to develop and add to the site.
Designed the Nationwide.com page for Corporate Citizenship including a award-winning animated module telling the stories of four associates who participated or used the company's volunteerism and giving initiatives. (Photo Direction, script writing, animation, web design). The animated story module received a bronze quill.

Madikwe Cane Spirit
Madikwe Virgin Cane spirit is a new liquor import from South Africa and based in Des Moines, Iowa. I am the creative and marketing director. I designed the mobile first website, all the visual communications including print, press kit, posters, banners, takeaways. I also concepted, scripted and produced a video which will be on the website soon. I also help develop content including social media posts and photography. I enjoy writing and creating for the web as it's an exercise in creativity, psychology, and you have to know what motivates your users.
